Welcome to
2014 page!!
On Tuesday, December 2, 2014, we visited Disney's Magic
Kingdom park. First we had a character breakfast at the
Grand Floridian resort, then I had a "mermaid makeover" at
the Pirate's League and met some Princesses, including
Ariel! Later that day we came back for Mickey's Very Merry
Christmas party, and I even met Anna and Elsa!! Here are
pics from that day (and night!)  :-)
Our first stop of the day was the Grand
Floridian resort, for breakfast :-)
The restaurant was 1900 Park Fare, and it
was a character breakfast, I couldn't wait!
Winnie the Pooh was the first character to
come around, he was so cute!
Right after Pooh was Tigger, he was funny, and I'm
pretty sure the signature says "Tigger", hee hee.....
Then we were visited by Mary Poppins,
she was really pretty....
Alice was very sweet, and I was
almost as tall as she was!! ;-)
Last was the Mad Hatter, and he was
SO hilarious!! He cracked me up ;-)
Yay, we're here at the Magic Kingdom!!
We had to hurry to get to my mermaid makeover so
we only got a quick pic of Cinderella's castle ;-)
My makeover took place at the Pirates
League in Adventureland :-)
The inside of the Pirates League looked like a
pirate ship, it was awesome!
My "helper's" name was Martha and she stayed in
character the whole time, even spoke with a fake
accent (that I copied the rest of the day, teehee),
she was really cool ;-)
Check me out, I'm a mermaid!!!
Right after my makeover, they took me to
the "captain's cabin" to take pictures :-)
Not sure which captain's quarters they were, but I like
to think it belonged to Captain Jack Sparrow!
Inside, in the dark, my flower was white,
but outside in the sun it turns purple!
Now that I look like a mermaid, it's time
to go visit another mermaid - Ariel!!
She saw me and said "Mermaid Ahoy!" tee hee ;-)
She was super sweet and talked to me for a
long time, you know, about mermaid stuff ;-)
Her signature either says "Ariel" or "Aeeeee" which is
how you say Ariel in our secret mermaid language
HEE HEE HEE :-)
Becoming a mermaid and meeting a
mermaid - what could be better!!
Another ride on my "wish list" for this trip was
the new and improved 'Dumbo' ride!
It's now two rides and you wait for one of them
inside a big air conditioned tent, it was awesome!
I even went down a few slides :-)
Finally our turn, and it was great!
After Dumbo we rode the Mad Hatter's
teacups, and next to it was the White
Rabbit, so I got to meet him too!
Another new attraction is the Princess
Fairytale Hall, where I'm going to meet
Cinderella, and Rapunzel, woohoo!
I got to meet Cinderella first and she
was super sweet, and so pretty!
Then I met Rapunzel and she was funny and
really nice. These two princesses had the
prettiest signatures of anyone I met! ;-)
Before going back to the rental house to change for
tonight's Christmas party, we had lunch at 'The Plaza'
restaurant on Main Street, it was really good :-)
