Welcome to my 2011 Columbus Zoo page!

On June 29th, 2011, my Mommy and I visited the Columbus Zoo. Here I am by the Zoo lake!

This is inside the 'Habitat House' which teaches you how to be more "green", I just thought it was cool ;-)

Next to the 'Habitat House' was a petting zoo, and I got to brush this goat's fur! So cute :-)

Then we headed over to where the Polar Bears are, and we got to see this one swimming!

Also near the Polar Bears are the Brown Bears - these are brothers, Brutus and Buckeye....usually they are really active, but not today! (They almost look like great big teddy bears) :-)

But someone who WAS active, was Beco the baby elephant...he's getting so big, but he's still so cute! (First time we'd ever seen him, and he's two years old!!)

Next stop, the Aquarium, and a tortoise swam right up to the glass :-)

The manatees are cool though, they're huge, but seem so graceful in the water....

Our day wouldn't be complete without a ride on the merry-go-round!

And on our way out, I cooled off a little in the 'mist' :-)

For the first time ever at the Zoo, we took a tram back to our car! We didn't really need to, but it was there, and I wanted to, hee hee....it was fun :-) Can't wait to visit the Zoo again!
