On Thursday and Friday, 12/4 and 12/5, we visited the 'Universal Studios' and
'Universal Islands of Adventure' parks. We had a park hopper pass so we went
back and forth between them both days. Here are some pics from those two days!

We made it to Universal!! 12/4/14
Our plan was to head to Islands of
Adventure first, then take the Hogwarts

I was so excited!!
One of the main reasons for visiting Universal was to
see the new 'Diagon Alley' section of the Wizarding
World, and to ride the Hogwarts Express. We visited
both Hogsmeade in Islands of Adventure (and rode the
Forbidden Journey!) and then London/Diagon Alley,
over at Universal Studios. It was a BLAST!! Click on

Another new ride I was excited about was the
'Despicable Me Minion Mayhem', I love those movies!!

The entrance looked like Gru's house, and
it was a super fun ride (rode it twice with
no wait, thanks to our passes!)

I even met some minions, woohoo!
After the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade is over
in New York, they bring some of the balloons
down to Universal, like this one, Scooby Doo!

I was also super excited about the brand new
expanded "Simpsons" area at Universal Studios....I'm a
HUGE fan!! (Just like my parents, hee hee)

The main Simpsons ride was
still awesome as ever!!

There was so much more to see now
though, like Jebediah Springfield!

There was a Krusty Burger, Moe's
Tavern, Bumblebee Man's Taco Stand,
and even Lard Lad Donuts!!

The highlight of the day was
meeting some of the Simpsons
themselves, but no Maggie or
Homer, DOH!!! :-) (Next time!)

On our last day it rained quite a bit, but it
was ok, we needed our rain ponchos to ride
the Jurassic Park River Adventure, without
it we would've gotten soaked for sure!!

And even though it rained on Friday, we
still had an *AMAZING* time, it was so
much fun, and we'll DEFINITELY be back
for another adventure someday!!!
