Welcome to
page!
During our vacation, we visited the Magic Kingdom on two days, Monday, March 31st, and again on Thursday, April 3rd.. Here are some pictures from those days....
We're on the Disney bus to the
Magic Kingdom - I'm so excited!            3/31/08
Wow, look at all the balloons - maybe I can get one before the end of the day :-)
Here I am in front of Cinderella's Castle!
My first ride of the day was on Cinderella's Carousel - we found out that there's only one horse with a ribbon on its tail, and that's Cinderella's horse - we watched for it, and we got it!! Woohoo!
Next we went to "Story time with Belle", where they pick kids from the audience to be in the play - and I was picked!! I got to be 'Chip', the teacup :-)
And Chip was a hero in the story, rescuing Belle so she could get back to the Beast's castle - when I ran out for that part, I gave Belle a BIG hug!
I even got to hold Belle's hand for the final bow...
And I was second in line to get her autograph - my first one, woohoo!
Her signature is so pretty, just like her :-)
I just love Belle, and I had so much fun in her play...I hope I see her again this week ;-)
It started to get hot that day, so we took a break back at our hotel to swim, then returned to the Magic Kingdom later that day - here's our bus ;-)
Our first ride that afternoon was "It's a Small World", I really liked this ride a lot :-)
Next I rode 'Dumbo' with Mommy....
It's finally our turn, yay!
While we were riding, it was getting dark out, and the castle turned pink.....
...then green.....
....then purple! So cool...
We finished up our day with a balloon - a Princess one!
On Thursday, 4/3/08, we went back to the Magic Kingdom, and it was an "Extra Magic Hours" day, which meant that anyone staying at a Disney resort would get into the park an hour early - yay! We headed to 'Adventureland' first, and only waited 5 minutes for "Aladdin's Magic Carpet" ride :-)
We also got to ride the "Jungle Cruise", which we hadn't even planned on, but the wait was only 10 minutes, awesome!
Next we headed over to "Ariel's Grotto" to meet The Little Mermaid and hopefully get her autograph :-)
A pic of Cinderella's castle through the Grotto rocks...
I've got my book open and ready to sign...
Yay, we're next!!
Ariel!! I was so excited to meet her...her fin was all sparkly and pretty....
Her signature is as beautiful as she is (and she was the sweetest Princess we met)
She was so sweet to me, and gave me lots of hugs :-)
Meeting Ariel was definitely a highlight of the trip for me, I'll miss her!
Here are two of the pictures the Photo Pass photographer took of us :-)
We also rode the "It's a Small World" again (I really wanted to), and we used FastPass to ride "Peter Pan's Flight", and only waited 5 minutes for it. After it was done (I liked that ride a lot too), I stopped to get a pic with this Cinderella topiary....
As the day heated up, we stopped for some ice cream to help us cool off....I had a great time here at the Magic Kingdom, I can't wait to come back someday! :-)
