Welcome to my Kalahari and Cedar Point 2012 page! |

On 6/7/12 we took a trip up to Sandusky, Ohio, to visit Cedar Point and stay at the Kalahari Resort. Kalahari has an indoor waterpark, and an animal safari - it was so much fun! And, best of all, I'm tall enough to go on most of the "big" rides at Cedar Point! Here are some pics from our trip.... |

After lunch, we visited the 'Animal Safari', and I got to take a ride on a camel, it was so fun! |

And I got to visit with the giraffes - they were so cute!! |

After the giraffes, we visited the rest of the petting zoo, and I fed some goats :-) |

I also fed the bunnies, and they were my favorites, hee hee ;-) |

Later that evening we went to the arcade, where I am the champion of the 'crane' games, woohoo!! |

The next morning, we headed to Cedar Point, and I posed on the bridge by the outdoor waterfall on the way to the car :-) |

We rode a few rides (including the 'Blue Streak', a "big kid" ride), and then I had an ice cream bar to cool off ;-) |

After lunch, I ran into Snoopy, Lucy, and Linus, yay! :-) |

And I did a little dance by a fountain, hee hee ;-) |

My last ride of the day was on the historical carousel, it's over 100 years old!! Cedar Point was so much fun! :-) |

|
Later that day we visited the arcade at our hotel again, and I did well on the crane games - again!! :-) |

|
|
|
 |
|
|
|
The resort also had miniature golf - it was a little scary going through the shark's mouth to get in there! |
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
|
|
|
And it was "glow putt" - all you can see are my bright white shorts, hee hee! |
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
|
|
|
|
|
One last stop to try a few crane games - I just love those!! (Gee, wonder why? TEE HEE) |

|
|
|
 |
|
|
|
|
The next morning, after we checked out, I got a chance to see the baby bengal tiger in the lobby - and I got to pet her too! |

|
|
|
 |

After visiting with the tiger, we went to the water park one last time - can you see me?? ;-) |

We had a great time at both the indoor, and outdoor pools...and our room was in that building right behind me! |

And of course we couldn't leave without visiting the animal safari one last time, and saying goodbye to the giraffes!! |

|
|
 |
|
|
|
On our way out, I even got a huge plastic tube filled with sugar!! (All different flavors!) HEE HEE!! |
|
|
|
 |
|
|
|
|
|
Bye, Kalahari! I can't wait to visit you again someday! :-) |
